Where most bands chase trends, these veterans have stayed locked to the source, building a catalog that sits comfortably alongside the classic Stax and Dade records they grew up loving. Bacano is that commitment pressed into wax.

Black Friday 2024.
Now and always, Orgone delivers dirty, organic, California soul with heart; music that grabs you by the collar, pulls you to your feel and shoves you wantingly onto the dance floor. It all started with two kids from the San Fernando Valley, whose shared affinity for gritty soul records of the 60s and 70s collided with the colorful music cultures brewing in Los Angeles during the late 90s. That friendship sparked a movement, and Orgone has been delivering nothing but gold to the funk faithful ever since.

Tracklist

Side A

1. Vibromeyer (6:47)

2. Open Season (5:09)

3. Minor Prospects (3:44)

Side B

1. Be In Here (3:28)

2. Bacano (3:29)

3. Come Around (7:56)

Side C

1. Nasty Hats (4:34)

2. Small Time (3:52)

3. Already Doin It (5:09)

Side D

1. Hott Karl (4:31)

2. Cydelines (6:07)

UPC: 648564355725
Label: Colemine Records
Release Date: 11.29.24
Format: LP Vinyl

Details

Label: Colemine Records (CLMN-12036) · Released: 2024 · Country: US

Tracklist

A1 Vibromeyer – 6:47

A2 Open Season – 5:09

A3 Minor Prospects – 3:44

B1 Be In Here – 3:28

B2 Bacano – 3:29

B3 Come Around – 7:56

C1 Nasty Hats – 4:34

C2 Small Time – 3:52

C3 Already Doin It – 5:09

D1 Hott Karl – 4:31

D2 Cydelines – 6:07

Credits

James Webber (3) – Artwork

Dave Polster – Lacquer Cut By

Doug Krebs – Mastered By

Steve Kaye – Mastered By

Steve Kaye – Mixed By

Rashaan Dorsey – Performer (Orgōne Family), Backing Vocals

Dale Jennings – Performer (Orgōne Family), Bass

Gino Garofalo – Performer (Orgōne Family), Bass

Tim Glum – Performer (Orgōne Family), Bass

Jordan Katz – Performer (Orgōne Family), Trumpet

Gino Garofalo – Performer (Orgōne Family), Vocals

Fanny Franklin – Performer (Orgōne), Backing Vocals

Ethan Phillips – Performer (Orgōne), Bass

Sean O'Shea – Performer (Orgōne), Drums

Sergio Rios – Performer (Orgōne), Guitar

Dan Hastie – Performer (Orgōne), Keyboards

Stewart Killen – Performer (Orgōne), Percussion

Joel Bowers – Performer (Orgōne), Saxophone

Darren Cardoza – Performer (Orgōne), Trombone

Devin Williams – Performer (Orgōne), Trumpet

Anna Webber (2) – Photography By

Nicole Kristek – Photography By

Steve Kaye – Recorded By

Sergio Rios – Recorded By, Mixed By

Orgone – Written-By, Producer, Arranged By
