That kind of private press obscurity, the province of collectors who trade in regional Americana and homespun singer-songwriter craft, is exactly where this record built its reputation, one careful listen at a time.

Some albums land like lightning; others slowly reshape the world around them. Originally self-released in 1976, Robert Lester Folsom's Music and Dreams has traveled from hand-to-hand obscurity to cult classic status, finding new generations of listeners and renewed acclaim. For it's golden jubilee, Anthology Recordings now presents Music and Dreams: 50th Anniversary Edition, a double LP that pairs a remastered treatment of the album alongside the original reel-to-reel demos, adding new contour and color to music that continues to find an audience in it's own time.

Tracklist:

Music and Dreams

Ginger

Biding My Time

April Suzanne

Weeping Willow Tree

My Stove's on Fire

Spanish Lady

Brown Eyed Lady with Blonde Hair

A New Way

Show Me to the Window

Jericho

Please Don't Forget Me

Music and Dreams (Demo Version)

Ginger (Demo Version)

Biding My Time (Demo Version)

April Suzanne (Demo Version)

Weeping Willow Tree (Demo Version)

Spanish Lady (Demo Version)

Brown Eyed Lady with Blonde Hair (Demo Version)

A New Way (Demo Version)

Show Me to the Window (Demo Version)

Jericho (Demo Version)

UPC: 840526514816
Label: Anthology Recordings
Release Date: 10.16.26
Format: LP Vinyl
